We’re looking for a Business Development Director to work full time from Washington, D.C.

The Tuesday Company is hiring a Business Development Manager to work with our Chief Executive Officer. As a young and fast-growing company, we’re looking for someone who is nimble and flexible to fill an evolving role. We expect this person to own building the sales facing side of The Tuesday Company. This is a sales position replete with quarterly goals. You are highly organized and capable of working in tandem with the sales efforts our leadership team is doing in adjacent sectors. You will be the first sales hire at a company that tripled in size this year and will continue to grow.

You have a passion for organization, a sense of humor, insatiable curiosity, and a track record of doing whatever it takes.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business development leads with qualitative and quantitative research into issue advocacy, nonprofit organizations campaigns, and candidates

  • Develop the sales culture, process, and team of The Tuesday Company

  • Develop strategies to successfully position The Tuesday Company for further growth

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our software, Team, in order to educate potential clients on the power of digital community organizing with this product

  • Respond to RFPs with creative solutions

  • Manage potential clients through the entirety of the sales cycle

  • Maintain a robust system of reporting, notes, and accountability regarding the sales process

  • Continue to embody the successful brand presence of The Tuesday Company in the market

Client Success associate

The Tuesday Company seeks a Client Success Associate or a Client Success Manager to support progressive campaigns and causes using our app, Team. This person will interact with clients on a daily basis, educating staffers and supporting their use of Team. This role is ideal for goal-oriented candidates looking to develop valuable sales and relationship management experience in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service or client-facing role looking to grow quickly. You will be expected to take ownership over your world and you may eventually manage others. The role will be based in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for outreach strategy and for organizing in person and phone interactions with clients

  • Assist in client onboarding such as setting up access and providing online walkthroughs of Team

  • Solicit client feedback 

  • Be resource for the best practices of digital organizing  

  • Engage empathetically and analytically to replicate and solve problems

  • Provide detailed documentation of your guidance

  • Elevate problems to the engineering team when appropriate

Requirements

  • 1 year of professional experience, including internship and externship roles

  • Strong client service ethic

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Sales or fundraising experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively by e-mail and phone with executives

  • Experience thinking through problems creatively

  • Attention to detail

  • Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities

  • Ability to take initiative on projects and through customer service interactions

Graphic DESIGN INTERN

The Tuesday Company is looking for a design intern with graphic design experience to us full-time in NYC this fall. Passionate about voter engagement and want to apply your skills as a designer to political activism? We're looking for a junior level designer to support our team through the creation of branded collateral for The Tuesday Company (presentation, pitch documents, manuals, etc.). The Design Intern reports directly to the Creative Director, and is responsible for helping ensure a consistent quality to all outward facing materials for The Tuesday Company. 

Requirements for the role include:

  • Work samples of previous graphic design for brands

  • 1-3 years experience as a graphic designer

  • Expertise in inDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Business development intern

We’re looking for a Business Development intern working part time from Washington, D.C. We believe digital and relational organizing are the future of voter contact and we want you to be a part of it.

Responsibilities

  • Support our business development with qualitative and quantitative research into campaigns, candidates, issue advocacy and nonprofit organizations.

  • Ability to analyze and summarize a complex market and make concrete recommendations for future business opportunities

  • Understand how funding flows from Democratic donors and large organizations to candidates, organizers on the ground, and smaller 501c3’s and 501c4’s

Requirements

  • Excellent writing and communication skills for internal and external use

  • Advanced understanding of Excel for data management and presentation

Preferred Experience and Disposition

  • In-depth research projects

  • Pivot tables and other data manipulation via Excel

  • Love of politics, and a willingness to become an issue area expert
