  • Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

As a full stack software engineer you will be helping to build our products from front-to-back. In particular we are looking for someone with an intuitive understanding of design and how that interacts with the data that comes from our API servers.

responsibilities include:

  • Using continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speed

  • Working in a collaborative, product-focused team to build the next generation of civic tech

  • Create a dynamic and responsive react native and react single page application

  • Applying the latest technology thinking to build software that will help communities and political campaigns to engage voters

  • Create designs and intuitive interfaces that engage and volunteers and campaign staff

  • Hook those beautiful designs into our API all the way down to the database layer

what we’re looking for:

  • A team player capable of communicating well.

  • Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code. Our current tech stack includes, linux, MySql, Golang, React, and React-native.

  • We don’t limit ourselves to one language; experience in Java, Scala, C#, Javascript, Ruby, Python, or Golang  is preferred.

  • Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, TDD, Infrastructure as Code, etc.

  • Knowledge and appreciation of cloud technology such as Google Cloud or AWS.

  • Experience with single page applications and their technologies like React, React-Native.

  • A passion for all things design, including interaction design and user interface design.

We’re looking for a Manager of Business Development to work with our Chief Operating Officer full time from Washington, D.C. This role requires a strong background in the campaign industry and, ideally, some background in a sales role. You’re nimble and flexible, and looking to fill an evolving role at a young and fast-growing company. You will acquire customers, build partnerships, and maintain productive relationships as we enter new markets. You will help build a strong sales process, replete with quarterly goals. You are highly organized and capable of working independently. You will be the first or second sales hire at a company that tripled in size in 2018 and will continue to grow.

We’re looking for a Director of Revenue to work with our Chief Operating Officer full time from Washington, D.C. This role requires a background in sales and, ideally, familiarity with nonprofit and political organizing. You will help design and oversee go-to-market strategies, further build and drive relationships in our industries and work with our team to ensure contract renewals.

You’re nimble and flexible, and looking to fill an evolving role at a young and fast-growing company. You are highly organized and capable of working in tandem with the sales efforts our leadership team is already doing. You will be the first or second sales team hire at a company that tripled in size in 2018.

preferred experience and disposition

  • Demonstrable success sourcing and closing SaaS sales pipelines

  • Understanding of the complex ecosystem that drives SaaS sales purchasing decisions as well as campaign and nonprofit sales cycles

  • Experience growing and leading a sales team

  • Belief in the value of organizing, and applicability of technology to make it more efficient and effective

  • Experience working high-level as a software sales person, on a progressive campaign, non-profit, or advocacy organization

  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
